Saujana Golf &
Country Club, Subang, Selangor.
Situated about
30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur city center and approximately 45
minutes from KLIA, this splendid golf course is host for the
‘Malaysian Open’ which is part of the European PGA sanctioned tour.
Designed by internationally famed course designer Ronald Fream, this
was formerly 162 hectares of oil palm estate, incorporating two
championship courses, the par-72 Palm Course nicknamed “The Cobra”
(6,565 yards) and the Bunga Raya Course (6,400 yards). This golf
course is highly sought after by the avid golfers.

Kelab Golf
Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam, Selangor.
This 27-hole golf course was designed by world renowned Thompson,
Wolveridge and Associates. Covering an area of 412 acres, this
challenging course is home of “Night Golfing”. This course offers
an 18-hole USGA Championship course with an additional resting
nine-hole. Mr. Peter Thompson, 5-time British Open Champion and
World Series Winner personally supervised construction of this
course.

Glenmarie Golf
& Country Club, Shah Alam, Selangor.
Covering a total area of 360 acres, this 36-hole golf course is the
work of a well-known American designer Max Waxler. Glen Marie’s
centrepiece, the Garden Course (7,034 yards) and the Valley Course
(6,917 yards), two very contrasting 18-hole par-72 courses, are
skillfully designed for maximum enjoyment by every level of golfer.
The luxurious five-star Pan Pacific Glen Marie Resort further
enhances its position as one of the leading golf courses in the
country.

Golf & Country Club, Shah Alam, Selangor.
This 7,030
yards championship course is no child’s play. Designed by
internationally known Australian Ross C. Watson, Kota Permai GCC
meanders through serene valleys, fringed by oil palm trees that give
it a distinctive character and returns to the valley floor where
lakes abound. With few holes running parallel, it creates the
feeling that you are alone, at one with your surroundings.

Templer Golf Club, Rawang, Selangor.
With a total
area of 175 acres, this golf course has a unique layout featuring
the woodlands, lakes and dunes to test the golfers of all levels.
With a total yardage of 7,200 this par-72 course was built as part
of a massive tourist resort master plan for the State of Selangor.
This course hosted the World Corporate Games in 1993 and the World
Amateur Inter-Team Golf Championship in 1994 and 2001.

Resort, Bangi, Selangor.
Sprawled magnificently over an undulating lush greenery of gentle
hills and rolling valleys covering 660 acres, the resort embraces a
scenic 18-hole par-72 course perfectly maintained all year round.
Ronald Fream, an internationally known golf course designer,
designed this 7,130 yards championship course and it’s a popular
venue for local corporate and private tournaments.

Resort, Melaka.
The work of well-known Australian designer, Ross Watson, it is
unique and beautifully mounded out of the natural terrain and
consists of a masterful plan of rocky outcrops, clusters of palm
trees, scenic waterways and superb quality golf turf. This 36-hole
course offers some of the most demanding holes in the country,
complete with live crocodiles!!!

Tiara Melaka
Golf & Country Club, Melaka. This 27-holes international class golf course
spreads over 400 acres of lush tropical land in Ayer Keroh.
Officially opened in 1994, this course was designed by Nelson,
Wright & Harworth and is a very popular meeting venue for golfers
down south of the peninsular and
Singapore.

Sanctuary Golf Resort, Ipoh. A former tin mining land spanning over 800 acres
of verdant meadows, this golf haven meanders around several
shimmering lakes that are stocked with a variety of fish. Designed
by Tim Woolbank of Australia Golf Management, this 18-hole 7,250
yards par-72 championship golf resort was voted the 4th most
beautiful golf course in Malaysia in 1997 and again 2nd
in 1999/2000 polls.

Country Club,
Penang. Opened in 1984, this challenging course is
situated within the vicinity of high-rise apartments, houses and the
5-star Equatorial Hotel. It has been declared as the most beautiful
18-hole (6,111 yards) par-72 championship course has holes on its
upper slopes not only offering an interesting game for golfers but
also a fascinating view of
Penang Bridge
and the coastline. Its prominent feature is the landscaping which
include indigenous fruit trees. It is no wonder why many consider
this the most challenging golf course in the country especially
during the fruit season.

Resort, Penang.
Located in the
administrative center of Seberang Prai and only 25 minutes drive
from either Bayan Lepas International Airport or Georgetown, this
36-hole course was designed by Graham Marsh. Covering an area of
about 500 acres, this course is built on flat land with the addition
of mounds, ponds and bunkers strategically placed to catch imperfect
shots and give it undulating character.

Country Club, Penang.
Designed by
Hideya Sugimoto, this 6,663 yard par-72 course is situated about
24km from Penang. This course with its strategically placed bunkers
along the fairways, is narrow and tricky. It is one of the most
challenging courses in the country, serving as a true test of your
golfing skill.
LANGKAWI

Golf Club, Langkawi.
Located only
25km from Langkawi International Airport at the northern tip of the
island, this course is set in the midst of a tropical rainforest.
It offers golfers the challenge of an 18-hole course filled with
undulating land, fairways and water hazards, and the delightful, if
not breathtaking view of a course trapped between the Mat Cincang
Mountain and the shimmering Andaman Sea. This course is undoubtedly

Nestled at the foot of Gunung Raya (Mount Raya), this 18-hole course
is the latest alternative to golfers in Langkawi. This 6377 meters
par-72 is a challenging and demanding course especially when strong
breeze blows into the foot of the mountain.
